it would probably be a fairly expensive re-branding project and this is 
perhaps the reason why the current one will stay but i think a change could 
be very beneficial. i know there were some good times under the current 
badge but they've all been spoilt for me as i'll always see that period as a

little false (for want of a better description) as this current nightmare 
was just round the corner...

perhaps they could copyright the city's shield if the LUFC marketing people 
added some of their own design and customised it.
