Tricky one this, given that scottish MP's can vote on matters in central government that have an effect on England's green and pleasant land whilst their own banana republic assembly can veto the change does prove how mad a 'half-way house' can be. Personally, I don't like whisky or haggis, don't wear tartan and only partake in the consumption of shortbread at chrimbo and just for balance I hate leeks and caerphilly cheese, I wouldn't be too bothered if a giant angle grinder was taken to the borders and scotland and wales allowed to drift out to sea.
