I have seen us beaten 0 4 at home to ManU and Arsenal but Stoke !!!!!!! FFS !!!
That was about as bad as it gets !!!
At WBA last match at least we came away thinking if only Healys pen had gone
in..... and consoling ourselves that at least we never gave up and even nearly
came close to getting a point, but yesterday was just beyond belief !
Sully was brought back in for Warner who had been at fault for the first goal
against WBA and who had looked to be getting worse with each match he played
but Sully started where he left off against Watford, failing to get near the
free kick in the early minutes and then being beaten at the near post for the
second, sad to say but I am sure he is finished !!!
The Crainey haters got what they wanted with him failing to make the squad
and a 35 year old midget taking his place (and to be fair playing OK compared
to those around him) but it did us no good.
We were awful - Douglas was the only midfield player to get involved and
everything he did was bad including missing our only real chance (the penalty
apart) when he hit the ball straight at the prone keeper. Westlake and Lewis
did nothing and Derry turned from Mr Dynamo to Mr Invisible !!!!
That meant we were always under pressure and the strikers got no service (not
that Healy looked interested - again!)
Only Kelly and maybe Cresswell looked anything like they should.
We are in the shit big time and I can't see how we can change things round
for Tuesdays home game against Leicester - when I doubt the crowd will be above
15,000 !! (so much for Blackwell being to blame for poor attendances)
I have loads more to say but all negative and like the team yesterday I just
can't be bothered !!!!!!
WE NEED A MANAGER AND FAST !!!! otherwise 3rd Division here we come !!!!
Dave
