As a result of
bet24.com decorating our shirts this season, all Leeds United league games are
covered by Viasat Sports. Due to TV rights, this is a small comfort for having
to see Leeds in the Championship another year...
Some games have
been proved by Sky Sports as well, and comms are by far better there, so if the
game is on Sky, it's viewed in the pub.
Yesterday, there
were also Champs League games (remember?), so Leeds vs. Sunderland was tape
delayed; I had it in my living room two hours late, and managed to not get the
score from anywhere.
I.e. I have seen
most games this season on telly.
Common points I've
noticed:
- We don't last
more than 80 minutes
- Fortress Elland
Road is no longer a fortress
- Crowd is ...
probably at home
-
Atmosphere seems to be good (considering the crowd)
- We have a lot of
posession, are driving the games...
- We are clueless
on counter attacks and when 20 yards from goal-line
- We can't
shoot
- Penalty is only
option for scoring
Every
team must consider risk for injuries etc. - Leeds' current performance
there is no excuse for. This is below par, to be honest!
KB is responsible,
and having talked to him and met him etc. he seems to be a nice bloke, but he is
not up to the task at Leeds. The board need to take action now, I
think.
