Walton, not quite up to it at centre mid but we'll never know if he was at centre back. Still a better bet than the fakers we had on loan. You'll note he went to club in the division above. Pugh, not quite sure what happened there. Started off well. Think it was partly KB not knowing what to do with left back. Bennett, well I thought he was good enough but KB preferred Sullivan. Would have thought he was better to keep than a Yoof, as Sullivan must be 36-7 now and can look static at times. Agreed he may have wanted to play. Griffiths. Another masterstroke, chased him for AGES went through the mill with his work permit, then we don't play him. Did we watch tapes of him playing? Nonsensical. Harding. Made a fuss about signing him England U21, paid top dollar, maybe not up to it but hardly played. Was injured? Obviously some players shine with a lesser or crap team but still - we made a hoo-ha about chasing him and signing him.
