I'm not going to get into arguments about Blackwell in/out, because my worry is about the team/squad that we will have for the first few games.
Goal: Sullivan - OK, but he's 36 now, and we don't really have any cover for him. Defence: I don't like it but with Crainey injured and the recent departures. I can't see any other back 4 than. Kelly, Butler, Gregan, Kilgallon. Midfield: Difficult to guess. Stone, Bakke, Lewis. My clouded memories of Westlake from 2-3 years ago are that he is more of a winger than a central midfielder, but he might have changed. At a pinch Carole could start on the right with Stone in the middle which gives us good attacking options, but no real bite. Forwards: I'd pick Beckford and Healy, because Healy and Blake have never really hit it off. Subs: Ward (if we sign him) Richardson Westlake Blake Moore (god no!) Rui Marques ??! We need to sign a goalkeeper, centre-back and left back pretty sharpish if you ask me, and get rid of a waste of space like Moore to get a proper striker in.
