Not at all Dave. We can all talk a good game, they are often just opinions
and we are all entitled to them.

Difference is some people don't seem to grasp the fact that actually being a
football manager is a damn sight more difficult than picking 11 players or a
formation.

You lot always bring up Spring (and Carlisle but funnily enough you've all
gone quiet on him since he was dropped from the Watford side), and cite KB
selling him as an example of how shit a manager he is.

In actual fact KB didn't sell him because he didn't rate him as a player, or
because he could get something better or anything like that. He sold him
because Spring wanted to move back to London after his family problems.. ie
he didn't settle up North.

Anyone with a shred of sense will know that not only was that a sensible and
compassionate thing for KB to do, has it not occurred to you that the player
himself may have been performing below par in training and on the pitch
precisely because of his family problems/worries? So not only did KB have
no choice but to sell him, he may not have been seeing anything like the
best of Spring through absolutely no fault of his own.
