My 9 would be :-

Douglas(DO NOT RENEW his loan)
Crainey
Butler
Gregan
Pugh (given he's already gone)
Wright
Ricketts
Einarrson
Moore

Rui Costa

Don't know about the others. Assuming Gregan,
Butler & Crainey would be
happy to be squad players I'd keep them on, but my
preferred central
defensive pairing would be Kilgallon and A
Newsigning (although we looked
solid with Gregan & Kilgallon playing together, I
thought).

Danny Pugh's departure from Leeds United looks
likely to begin a sizeable
exodus - with Kevin Blackwell admitting up to nine
players could leave
Elland Road this summer.
Pugh parted company with United last week after
reaching the end of his
two-year deal, and several of Blackwell's other
squad members may be asked
to make way for new arrivals ahead of the 2006-07
season.
Pugh was the only senior Leeds player out of
contract this summer, but
Blackwell is planning a substantial overhaul after
watching his side lose
3-0 to Watford in the Championship Play-off final
eight days ago.
Blackwell said: "We're talking to people at the
moment, but it always
takes time at this stage of the summer.
"Most players are under contract until June, and
they're in no hurry to
sign up while they're still getting paid. The same
goes for any clubs
looking at my players - they won't want to take
their wages on until they
have to.
"I'll need to be patient, but there will be movement
in and out. Assuming
we can agree the right deals, we could be looking at
eight or nine of the
lads moving on."
United's medical team, meanwhile, are set to decide
tomorrow whether
striker Rob Hulse requires an operation on his
long-standing hip problem.
Hulse carried the injury through most of the season,
but he resisted
surgery in order to assist Leeds' challenge for
promotion.
Blackwell said: "Rob's in the hands of our medical
staff and they should
make a decision on him tomorrow. One way or the
other we need to get him
sorted out."
