I saw the whole match on PPV.....surely I saw the same match as you did.  Gregan and Derry were bloody awful.....Kelly passed the ball to Watford more than to his own players.  All we seemed to want to do was take the ball away and shoot it upfield in the hope some 100 metres speedster could catch up to it.

Watford deserved the win, no question....the ref was terrible....Blackwell?  I really wondered about him.
It seemed Watford's manager was sending signals to his players.....Blackwell was throwing his hands up in disgust or something....like....which team is it I am mnaging?  Which way are you going?  What's that whistle for?  Can I go home yet?  He didn't impress me at all.

Sky Sports commentator Ian Crocker said it best when our supporters were in full song with Marching On Together.....they're marching all right....right back to the Champions League.

Subject: [LU] Oh Sh*t

Leeds Utd 0 Watford 3

Goal 1 - Definitely our fault - Hulse lost his man at a free kick, free
header.

Goal 2 - Bizarre - wrongly awarded throw in results in shot blocked by
Lewis, loops up spins against the post and in off Sullivans arm

Goal 3 - Penalty awarded after a clearly offside King gets clattered by
Gregan

1 cast iron penalty denied Leeds about five minutes after their first goal -
Watford goalkeeper pushes Hulse in the back, consequently drops ball and
rugby tackles Hulse who is about to score - referees verdict - free kick to
Watford

1 Derry header cleared off the line, couple of good saves by their
goalkeeper - shots tally just about equal.

All in all can't really complain - we didn't play well enough to win it,
referee was blowing in favour of Watford for any physical contact - example,
King backing into Butler who tries to stand his ground, both hands held wide
too demonstrate 'no foul' - King collapses in a heap - referee awards free
kick to Watford. Hulse elbowed in face by Mackay - freekick to Watford.
Repeated Man utd style 'professional fouling' around the half way line by
Watford goes unpunished.

Tactics were working fine until we went a goal down - we sat deep, not
giving King any space to run into and although we were conceding territory,
we dealt comfortably with anything Watford tried - which frankly was not
much. Next year we need to invest heavily in midfield - Miller has looked
promising, but in a midfield with numerical advantage, failed to make his
presence felt.

The refereeing reminded me of days gone by - referees overcompensating for
Leeds perceived physicality. I imagine the press for the Preston semi did us
no favours in that repect.

Most bizarre decision of match, Lewis (I think) gets ball on touchline -
keeps the ball in play, just, linesman about 25 yards off the pace flags
frantically - referee bemused, consults third official, then approaches
linesman who is now pointing at his own thigh - linesman then advances about
ten yards onto the pitch and lies down to get his leg massaged - probably
five minutes of time wasted, referee predictably awards throw in to Watford.

Actions for next year - send Miller back to Man Utd - he didn't turn up

role of honour

Sullivan 4 - should have saved goal 2

Butler 5
Gregan 7
Killgalllon 7
Richardson 4
Douglas 5
Derry 7
Miller 2
