well breaking a leg can be a career breakig injury. and most def.
would set someone back
for SEVERAL months. as it happens this particular game is only a few
days away from World cup too..

I think we all agree that the ref. was maybe a bit too hasty but didnt
do anything wrong really.

It didn't look so dangerous to me but perhaps I am mistaken. Keepers flying
into players and "knocking" them as you put it is far more likely to result
in a broken leg IMHO.How does this fit with the ref taking no action for the
boot in the groin later on ?
If the ref was REALLY protecting the players from each other then that
appeared to be a far more dangerous incident.
