I don't want to get into a "real fan" debate either, but the general consensus in the queue was a plan something like this:
Day 1 of ticket sales: Home & Away ST holders, one final ticket per ST (any postal apllications sent 1st thing Tuesday morning should be there by Wednesday - after all you're not going to put a 2nd class stamp on it are you?
Day 2 of ticket sales: Members
Day 3 of ticket sales: New Members
Day 4 onward: General sale.

What was worst of all was the complete lack of communication from the club:  one tannoy announcement at about 3pm to say everyone currently queuing would get a ticket.  Otherwise zip.  No information about what was happening at the other ticket offices, no information about how many tickets left, no information about how long the queue was taking, no marsgalling of the queue.

Typical Leeds: if there's a hard way to do it...

The poor fuckers in the TO had been there at 10pm the night before and started at 8am that morning.

Gotta love Uncle Ken

He WILL make money by hook or by crook

Whilst it doesnt sound right at all - what mechanisim can you put in place to make this fairer? Also this will bring up the "real fan"debate once again.. Eg. Im a member but being 12,000 miles away I havent got on my bike this year and seen Leeds play. Does this mean I shouldnt get a ticket for the final??? Or does it mean I should??

Rumour I now hear....

at 6pm today only 5000 tickets had sold, and 3500 of those were new applications. (i.e. £45 extra per new member)

Does anyone know what the situation is with postal applications?

Mine would have got there first thing this morning (Wednesday) and I won't be able to go down in person as I live in Crewe. Do I stand a chance?

Just spoken to the boy Sean who has been in the queue since 10-15 this morning and is now within 30 people of getting our tickets at 10.30 tonight. The story going round the queue at the moment is that they have sold around 10,000 tickets so far and he reckons there is about another 1,000 in the queue behind him.
