Friends, I know that most of you receiving this email has no responsibility for dealing with it - I'm just letting you know the status of a matter that you all, one way or the other, have had your hand into in the past few months...
- - - On October the 3rd 2005 I sent the first email to Ticket Office, asking when the membership packs was going to be sent. On October the 19th 2005 I sent a new email - as I didn't receive any reply on the first one. On October the 21st I received an automatic email response sent by Mark Broadley - indicating that Leeds United started to deal with my issue. On November 7th 2005 I sent an email to TO and M. Broadley, as I hadn't heard anything more. On November 20th 2005 I sent an email to another department at LU (found an address at the website), as I hadn't heard anything yet. On December 27th 2005 I sent an email to my fantastic friends on the wonderful Leeds United Mailing List, explaining my frustrations. Mick Robinson replied to me the same day, telling me that Hannah Cox is always helpful sorting things out. On December 29th 2005 I received another email, this time from John Cave (LUST), he had forwarded my email to the list on to John Hemmingham, Head of the Membership Scheme. Everything now in the best pair of hands, I thought, and was delighted. My kids could look forward to an Xmas pressie from Leeds after all, though somewhat delayed. (It turned out that Scratchinshed of the list had forwarded my email to J. Cave). On the same day Hemmingham confirmed that my adress and other details was correctly registered by the club. He also stated that the distributors was on holiday until January 3rd, but he would speak to them then. On December 30th 2005 I received an "it was the least I could do" from J. Cave (I had sent an thank you email to him as well) On January 18th 2006 I sent an email to Hemmingham asking about status. I also informed that Mette actually did recieve her membership pack (1 down, 3 to go....) On January 30th 2006 I sent a new email to Hemmingham, asking whether or not he had received the one of Jan 18th, as I didn't hear back from him. On February 8th 2006 I repeated this, now copying J. Cave. I was wondering if I sent the emails to a "big black hole". On the same day, Hemmingham replied to me, confirmed that distributor had sent the packs (but not when), also saying they would arrange an alternate delivery root and try again. He also promised me an additional gift in appreciation of my patience. On February 20th 2006 I sent an email to Hemmingham, mentioning that no more packs nor gift was received, and asking whether or not the packs was being traced. On March 2nd 2006 this was repeated, as I had heard nothing. I received a reply, sent to me with copy to N. Martin, saying "I am looking into why you haven't received your packs(again) and will send you a gift by way of an apology forthe time delay. Please let me know if your packs arrive. I will ask my assistant to contact you with some positive news." I can say that almost 2 months on, his assistant have not contacted me... On March 3rd 2006 I sent an email to Hemmingham with copy to Martin, again asking about tracing the packs, and also asking whether or not the mentioned gift was sent, or only mentioned to be sent (it was now almost a month since he promised to send it). On March 6th 2006 I received a copy of an email from Hemmingham to Martin, where Hemmingham asked "Have we sent anything to this guy yet?" (At this time, I am sure Hemmingham is as tired of this issue as me- but I am stubborn, mind you!) On March 16th 2006 I sent an email to Hemmingway, asking whether or not he had received a reply to the mail he sent to Martin etc. I copied LUST, Ticket office (time to involve Hannah Cox!) and LUSCOS On March 18th 2006 I received an email from Hannah Cox, "Please accept this as an apology for the service that you have received, and hopefully we can get this sorted as soon as possible." - she forwarded the issue to TO Manager etc., and did what she could, I understood. She explained that this was not TO responsibility any longer etc., but she would "speak to someone on Monday"... (No doubt, she is the kind of person that sorts things out!) On March 28th 2006 I sent another email to Hemmingham with copy to Martin, as I hadn't heard anything after March 6th. On April 5th 2006 I repeated this, as I still hadn't heard anything. I also mentioned that I had received _newsletters_ (issue number 2) correctly the week before. On April 11th 2006 I sent a reminder to Hemmingham, indicating that I still had heard nothing. - - - Today is April 21st 2006 - season is almost gone - and my patience is starting to run out. I have not heard anything from the club after March 6th, I have no idea how the packs was sent (by Royal mail or another company), I have no idea whether or not the gift was sent or not, I even don't know whether or not Martin answered Hemmingways question have we sent anything yet. I don't know any reasons for not having received the promised packs, or if anybody in the club have any idea on what to tell the youngsters at 10 and 7 years in trying to explain things... I don't know if I am the only member in this situation, it's more like "me know nothing - I'm from Barcelona"... It is not only on the pitch performance must be improved, it seems. 7 months and still no result. I promise not to send any more emails until the season is gone. To the club, that is. Can inform you that _newsletters_ (issue number 2) arrived correctly last week; for me on Saturday, for the 3 others on Friday. Adresses etc. seemed correct. Are Leeds United going to send these packs at all? Have something been sent? Would it be meaningful to give me pack-numbers, so that I can ask for them on my local post office? If the distributors were back from holiday 3rd of January, it is now more than a month, and I think that not only should I heard from you, but also, I should have received the rest of the packs by now! When not at all receiving a reply on my emails, it feels like trying to communicate to a big black hole, and I have no clue whether or not my mesages are picked up. I hoped that the involvement late December should put an end to this issue, but it seemed that I was to quick in enjoying myself. I hope that you will take the time to reply to me, and indicate what is happening, and when I can expect to receive the other 3 packs. The Leeds United family, both on the mailing list and elsewhere, are really fantastic people! When sending email to the ticket office, I only got the automatic email reply; I asked for when the packages was scheduled to be sent, and the reply only stated that I would get no other reply etc. Not very helpful in the situation. There has been a problem with the distribution of overseas members packs. In short our distributors told us that they were delivered when they actually weren't. In the main the problem has now be sorted out however there are still obviously some isolated cases as with the guy in question. With the limited information I have I can trace when the packs were sent which may actually be very recently, if indeed they have been sent. I will try to contact Oystein however it would be a help if you don't mind sending him my email address for his future reference. He obviously hasn't had replies from wherever he has sent emails previously which is unacceptable. Thanks for your help John. All the best on the back of another three points! In the summer (of 2005) I enrolled my kids (yeah, actually my wife and myself as well) in the new membership club scheme. Money was taken from my acount after just a couple of days, and we soon received the membership cards. However, the promised freebies, membership packages, with some stuff my kids just can't wait to get, has not arrived, yet.... I have tried to email the club, I have tried to give feedback via the feedback form on the web-page, I have also sent a snail-mail letter asking the club when we can expect this to arrive. No sign on any answer, though; not in the mailbox, and not even an email as reply to my letter(s). I am very disappointed that they don't answer at all, after all I've left some pounds with the club in this (4 times oversea rate for membership, for a start....) If anyone have a direct email address to a club official, or any other hint or clue that might help me, I'd be grateful! - - - Merry Christmas, everybody, wonderful to get 3 points in the "box" on Boxing day !!!
