Dear All, I had an update from Paula yesterday.
Both she and Steve are having a hard time of this. Steve, obviously, is very, very poorly, and his treatment is complicated. From what Paula tells me, it is a slow and drawn-out process. Paula is very worried and just wants her Steve home. I have let her know that we are all thinking of them. It feels rather pointless, as all we can do is hold them in our thoughts. At this stage, I am not sure what else we can do. However, Paula, I know, has her faith, and hopefully, that will provide some succour. Any thoughts, listers?
