I agree with Dave that the performance against QPR was pretty good - it’s the damned finishing again. You have to wonder about the final ball into the area - we have a few main variants - one is the long cross to the back post, whilst the other is a hard fast ball in. I wonder how many forwards really could handle that kind of delivery? Even Aguero would have to be on his toes to get anywhere near an Ayling cross :-)
Like others, I don’t understand FFP in a LUFC context. Is it the first team squad taken into account, or all players. If it’s the latter then we should be knocking buying overseas starlets for the reserved - none of them come into the first team! Yet anyway. The only massive surprise given recent results is that it is still in our hands - we have to make sure that stays the same!
