To  be fair watching the various highlights packages (sky, QUest and LUTV) all
the chances till the last 3 minutes (when we were under real pressure and lucky
not to concede) were ours - Roberts had 4 half chances (a couple actually more
than 'half') Alioski had that header. Cooper with header (or Ayling at far
post) should have scored from that chance , Baker and Siaz both had shots from
decent distance / angles that they blazed over. Apart from the goal the TV
could only find that looping header from Zlatan , sorry Morison, that BPF took
under the bar, from  Millwall until the couple of scrambles right at the end
All the possession / passing stats also favour us but I never put any store in
them - I look at what we deserved out of a match mainly based on chances not
passes between the centre halves

The next two games will show if we are the real deal (I know we keep saying
that with Stoke, Derby, Boro, Millwall etc) - we have drawn 3 out of the last 4
but now have 2 games that are easy on paper - 6pts will show we really are a
good side and that we have a genuine chance - 4pts will keep us on track
mathmatically with 4 pts every 2 games (win at home / draw away -the old
adage) 2 or less will show that auto promotion will remain a pipe dream and
even the play offs could be too much
Just hope the fans who are turning out in numbers (Brum almost a sell out and
Preston good for a midweek game) stay behind the team and do not get on the
back of players - especially Roberts if he does not take any early chances that
come his way
Interesting times and hopefully good ones
Dave

Spot on Michael, and the fact that Miwwahl are moaning about everything like
big jessies makes it doubly pleasurable.

Before this season started, with the fixture list as it was, I firmly believed
we’d be in the bottom 6 by now. Whilst my first priority is to see us get
enough points to be safe, so far this season has been a revelation.

Too early to say whether we can stay on top, but it’ll do for now :-)
