Er, what? If your rebase to 4.14 for anything but an ultra-new platform which is still in the initial throes of development is anything *other* than just taking the newest tarball from Linus and then throwing away all the outstanding patches which were already submitted upstream in the meantime, then you are Doing It Wrong™.
