Can't be a 'ripoff' per se because LV's interface is that of a
CAD/CAE/schematic package (a paradigm that has been around for decades),
and *ALL* have zooming/panning as standard features.... I can remember
this feature being discussed - just like the venerable 'cut/paste'
feature since the LV 3.x days (early mid 90s). I guess what seams so
simple like a 'cut/paste' feature is a bit more of a challenge
programmatically than it appears, which is also true with schematic
programs.

However, with 'downshift'.... did the guys in Rochester receive anything
for that? I hope so.
