I am trying to set up an encoder for measuring distance in Labview. I have an NI DAQ 6503 connected to an NI BNC 2090. I have four lines going into the DIO port on the 2090 and when I open the Measurement and Automation and look at the channel i set up I can see the inputs changing from a Hi and Low state. Can I use this in Labview, and how am I able to accomplish this. Thanks for any help.
