It sounds like you have <http://www.laputan.org/mud/mud.html>. I have a couple of those projects as well. One that has been brought forward from Version 1 of labview and I hope to get to another major rewrite this year.
Thanks for that link, Scott, great reading. One type of "Big Ball of Mud" I didn't read about was this one: the "Pile of Shame" (POS for short), often used in reference to a pile of controls and indicators thrown over at the side of a labview diagram and forever referenced by locals.
