Dear QA list, dear L10N list, while lurking on the issues@ mailing list I received a message about issue #104380. A user reported a problem with the Chinese translation and was eventually told to use Pootle rather than Bugzilla. The relevant parts are below.
I would like to point out that Bugzilla _is_ suggested for reporting issues with translations on this page: https://openoffice.apache.org/translate.html I therefore suggest we should either fix the above page, or change our way of processing this kind of bug reports. This is just my humble opinion and I am open to discussion. Still in my humble opinion, the bug's poster deserves a "thank you" for having followed the above suggestion. Please keep me in Cc while replying. Best regards. ----- Forwarded message from bugzi...@apache.org ----- Date: Sun, 31 Jan 2021 16:20:32 +0000 From: bugzi...@apache.org To: iss...@openoffice.apache.org Subject: [Issue 104380] [zh-CN] Translation error in Y Axis dialog - Positioning - Place labels https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=104380 [...] What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- [...] Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOT_AN_OOO_ISSUE [...] Please submit your translated strings on Pootle system: https://translate.apache.org/zh_CN/ Bugzilla is not the right tool to this kind of problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
