The reason that I suggested adding a new page for Sorani is that the current Kurdish page includes Kurmanji data and it may not be ideal to add another dialect, particularly as the two dialects are written in two different scripts, Sorani in an Arabic-based script and Kurmanji in a Latin-based one.
