I am translating Help of AOO. I find next: location: wikisettings.xhp#par_id1188390.help.text <ahelp hid=".">Enable an Internet connection for %PRODUCTNAME. Then choose Check for Updates to check for the availability of a newer version of your office suite.</ahelp>
For reference it's line 61 here: http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org/source/xref/aoo-trunk/main/helpcontent2/source/text/shared/main0108.xhp
What I think that is a problem is this path: "Tools - Options - Internet. Then choose Check for Updates to check for the availability of a newer version of your office suite." I can not find there posibilities to do this. I find in Tools - Options - Openoffice - Online Update that I can do this Updates. Question: am I looking in right place, or?
It is correct, but badly written. Re-read it: "If you need a proxy, check the Proxy settings in [Tools-Options-Internet]. Then choose Check for Updates". So: it is correct that a proxy is defined there. But the "Then" is unclear, since "Check for Updates" is in another screen. If you have a proposal for improvement, just open an issue, write the desired text (or commit it yourself, it's the file above) and make a note of this in the issue. Make sure you send a link to the issue to this list.
