I know of the schism OO vs Libre Office and the reasons why, but I have the impression that very few people outside of the linux/opensource community are aware of it and therefore continue to use OO, but it purely anecdotal, I have no statistics to back it up.
I would like to help with the translation. I've done translation before on linux years ago, so I'm familiar with gettext and po-files. Is there anything special I should know about OO?
