I send more faxes than receive these days and, I'd have to conduct a
test with someone I know to see how long the delay is between the
time of receipt by the fax machine and the VPS ringing the desk to
tell me there are X number of fax messages.
It's not really a priority, I was curious to know if anyone else had
experienced this.
As far as tech support, my associate has indicated on numerous
occasions that their phone support is not the friendliest.

Can you cross-reference the date/time of the fax with the TVA message? Is
the date/time stamp of the fax notification late? Or maybe Fax
notification messages don't light the MWL and you are only getting an MWL
when a new message comes in?
I've never used this feature in 30+ years, so I don't know if this is
normal. I would assume not, so something else is amiss.
Have you checked with Panasonic tech support?

All fax notification will do is automatically transfer the fax tone, the AA
hears, to the extension that is connected to your fax machine, so your fax
can receive that incoming call.

certain extension. Seems fax notifications from the Auto Attendant take
several hours to be delivered instead of immediate. I went back into the
settings and see nothing in Fax Management which would cause this. This
TVA50 is using software version 2.02.
