The 490 info provides site dialing info We have set up in the past 1xx extensions for the main site, and 4xx extension for the remote site. Set up at the main site 4xx under other extensions. Then all you need to under the card related programming to to point 4xx to the fixed IP address of the remote site.
If you need further help, I can take screen-shots of one of our installs between a TDA100 and TDA30 (TDA50 for those south of the 49th). -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ross Lindahl Sent: Sunday, July 15, 2007 7:25 AM To: KXT Mailing list Subject: KX-T: connecting 2 switches together Gents This is a first for me so please be patient with me. An existing tda200 v3.2. and a new tda100 v3.2. They are aprox 12 to 15 hundred feet apart. We are using a radio transmitter that supports T1 and Lan connections from point to point. I have set up for each switch a tda 0920 sd mem card along with tda 0490 ip gateway card for each switch. I want to use the telco lines from the tda200 when ever I need to call out from the tda 100. The extensions that already exist on the tda200 are 1xx through 4xx. I am pretty flexible with the extensions on the tda 100. I was reading about how dialing could be set up so that each pbx has unique extensions. Dialing from one switch to the other would require just the 3 or 4 digit extension number. The other method would be to dial the pbx number followed by the extension number number. Dialing out on telco facilities from the tda100 would be to first dial the switch number of the tda200 followed by the tie line digit and finally 9 and area code and number. I would like to set these two switches up the easiest way possible for now just so they are connected together and they can call each other and the tda100 can make calls out using the telco from the tda200 switch. Any information would be helpful. All I have is the kxtda0490 pprogramming guide. _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
