We had the power cable from the power supply to the circuit board come loose one time, Pull the cover off and look at internal wiring connections.

I'm thinking somehow the power supply might have been on its last legs, and switching it off and back on (as it always runs continuously) might have finally killed it? If so, has anyone replaced one and how difficult is it? Considering the age of the system (7 years), if the repair cost is going to be more than a couple of hundred dollars, it'd be cheaper to get a second hand one off eBay.
