We had the power cable from the power supply to the circuit board come loose
one time, Pull the cover off and look at internal wiring connections.

Subject: KX-T: Dead KX-TD816 - possible PSU problem?

Hi,

Recently I reorganized my home office a bit, and in the process relocated
the phone system cabinet to the other side of the room. Since moving it,
I've been unable to get it to switch on.

The power light doesn't even come on - but I've verified the cable and power
source. I'm thinking somehow the power supply might have been on its last
legs, and switching it off and back on (as it always runs
continuously) might have finally killed it?

If so, has anyone replaced one and how difficult is it? Considering the age
of the system (7 years), if the repair cost is going to be more than a
couple of hundred dollars, it'd be cheaper to get a second hand one off
eBay.

Regards,

Edward
