Hi Carl

Got the problem solved today had to purchase the memory expansion card (MEC)
which fits into the options board. Trade price of €508 pretty expensive.

Now its works correctly the reception can 'check out' a customer and up comes
on the display on the KXT 7636 the call costs, minibar charge and others
charges if applied, then she/he has the option print an invoice from the
KXT7636. There is a paytone card installed on the analogue cards for meter
pulses which is used to work out the costs of the calls.

Many thanks for help

Regards

Michael

Michael,

On our side of the pond, we don't have an interface to pass data to
the 7636. Your CI/CO buttons only do what you expect, show the
status of a room and send a message to the SMDR port of the
status. There is no costing on the TDA so where would the numbers come from?

We use Trisys Tality here which is a two step process. After the
room is checked out, you bring it up in Tality and print and clear
the invoice, which zeroes out the calls for that room for the next
guest to check in.

The check out button only puts the room into electronic station
lock. They can call the Operator but cannot dial outside
calls. Pretty simple eh?

Carl
