Hello,

We have a client with a Panasonic kxt-624 version 5 KSU which suffers from
intermittent ringing problems. Incoming calls always ring the phone system,
but on a seemingly random basis the ringing is clipped, or unusually short.
The client describes it as a stuttering sound at times, with a normal ring
sounding, then 1-3 clipped/short rings. We have tried having Verizon
technicians out on-site to troubleshoot the problem, but they can tell us
nothing conclusively. The problem occurs on all phones throughout the
system.

We COMPLETELY REPLACED the kxt-624 KSU and re-programmed the new unit with
the same settings in regards to extension programming, enabling caller-ID,
etc. The problem persists, although the customer thinks that it has happened
less frequently but is growing worse as the weeks pass.

Has anyone had any problems like this?

Any recommendations you can offer would be appreciated,
