Hi all:

I've had a similar problem with an answering machine that resides on line 1
of a TDA50.

The customer told me that when she answers the phone, its muted for a period
of time. Now this all makes sense. What she didn't tell me is that the
answering machine got the call first AND THEN she tried to pick up the call
after the machine started to take the call.

My guess is if I adjust that timer, I will fix the problem. We went this
route since she wanted an answering machine with caller id built into it.
Try and find one of those today.

I learn so much cool stuff on this list. Hopefully if I ever need the
info I'll be able to remember it.
