Pair 1 of the station cable is bad.

a 7130 uses pair 1 for voice, pair 2 for data/power (apits)  (7020 is 
apits to)

a 7433 only uses pair 2 voice/data/power (dpits) 

I bet an slt is noisy too.

Don't overlook the station cord, wall to set. 

noise is wet cable or jack,  did the jack get wet / turn green?
