Ocassionally my TA824 does the same thing, but I have always blamed
the voice mail system operating in inband mode and taking a little
extra time to be notified that the ringing extension has been
answered. One extension rings one phone here after the call has been
directed via Auto Attendant. I think that kills the theory that it
is ringing many phones at the same time.

The History is in the actual programming of the phone system itself
TA824. If you have display phones, you need to program one of the PT
keys for either CID Common, CID, Personal, CID Common Indicator, or
CID Personal Indicator. CID Common Indicator and CID Personal
Indicator can light a CO button to indicate a call has come in either
to the system or a particular extension if so programmed. I did most
my programming via the PC software. This can be found under 2.4 or
Extension > Flexible Button and set the PT button of your choice to
one of the CID functions. I believe the call log feature must also be
turned on under Caller ID > Call Log . Check in the boxes which
extensions which you want to have this data recorded.
