I forgot to mention that it almost always happens when you use speed dial, but it's only a short burst/chirp just after the line is accessed. I unplugged the cables from the modular jacks on the TVS port and the problem remains, so I know it's not the voice mail system. I will try swapping out the CO lines.
Thanks for the help. If I do find that the problems changes to the other CO, I'll know for sure it's not the TA824. Just checked and we do have a WECO 5ESS (Digital) here according to telcodata.us .
