Here is what really works sweet. We have a KXTD1232 with quite a few
extensions. You can buy a Plantronics wireless phone with headset, I think
the current model is CT-12, sometimes you can find them for less than $100.
You can put a RJ-11 splitter into the back of the extentsion and then plug
the Plantronics into one of the 2 RJ11's. So we have 4 voices lines that
ring at each ext., and with the Plantronics set this way, and we have 4 of
them plugged into 4 different exts, whatever line(s) are ringing you can
answer from the Plantronic that you have clipped to your belt, just by
pushing the answer button on the Plantronic. We look like a fast food
restaurant, but our productivity is great, and we can move around. We own a
pharmacy and we spend all our time on the phone. You can't believe how
great it is.

You can place a call from the wireless put you can't pick what line to use.
Mostly I go to my ext and dial from there and then press the answer button
on my belt and do the rest of the call that way. For us headsets are the
answer, but being tied down to the ext. would not work......this works
great. The units go forever on a battery charge and at night we put them in
their cradle, and in the next morning there ready to go.

I guess you mean a 123211D Key system, and I don't have any idea how
you would connect a headset to the KSU since it fits on a phone.

Now if you really mean phones, I guess you either buy the right
headset and adapter for a handset cord, or get a new 7700 series
phone that has the 3.5mm jack on it.
