Hi I have a KX TA 1232OBE unit, config as full 12 x 32, it also has the pair of DISA cards fitted.
I don't really want to use DISA or DIL but I understood that if I had these cards fitted, it was possible to transfer CO line to CO line, at the moment however any attempt by me to do this fails. I have gone through the manual repeatedly, tried allocating a line as DIL but still could not forward it. I would *like* calls coming in on CO5 (personal line) to ring a designated extension, if it is not answered then the call is automatically forwarded to my mobile. I have tried setting a forwarding on the extension - which works fine if called from an internal phone - but it does not work on CO lines. Then I tried setting up a different extension to forward to mobile - and then transfer the incoming call to the extension with call forwarding on it - no joy. Can it be done with the analogue 1232's? If so, can someone please point me in the right direction, it is not in my manual. Any help welcome please, would really like to keep the old girl plodding on - and this is the only things I just cannot do at the moment. Had toyed with the idea of buying a call diverter but they seem hard to get in the UK.
