Firstly apologies if I get this wrong, it is many years since I used this list and having trouble recalling quite how to drive it :-) I have a Panasonic KX TA 1232OBE unit, configures with full 12 x 32, significantly (I think) it also has the pair of DISA cards fitted. I don't really want to use DISA or DIL but I understood that if I had these cards fitted, it was possible to transfer outside line to outside line, at the moment however any attempt by me to do this meets with an error. I have gone through the manual repeatedly, tried allocating a line as DIL but still could not forward it. What I am *trying* to do is fairly simple. I would like calls coming in on CO5 (personal line) to ring a designated extension, if it is not answered then the call is automatically forwarded to my mobile. I have tried setting a forwarding on the extension - which works fine if called from an internal phone - but it does not work on CO lines. Then I tried setting up a different extension to forward to mobile - and then transfer the incoming call to the extension with call forwarding on it - no joy. Can it be done with the analogue 1232's? If so, can someone please point me in the right direction, either it is NOT in the manual OR I have an addendum missing. Any help would be welcome please, would really like to keep the old girl plodding on - and this is the only things I just cannot do at the moment. Had toyed with the idea of buying a call diverter but they seem hard to get in the UK.
