You can obtain a "Null Modem" Cable at most any office/computer store
This cable will allow you to connect to the voice mail system to change programming for the fax extension. You will need to use HyperTerminal to access the voice mail software. Unless you are computer savvy, I suggest you go onto Panasonic's web site, enter your zip code and find a local certified dealer to help you with this process. Below is the link to find a dealer. The link may become broken in this user forum, so you may need to copy and paste it in your browser. http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vModelDetail?displayTab= O&storeId=15001&catalogId=13401&itemId=93849&catGroupId=25216&modelNo=KX-TVA 50&surfModel=KX-TVA50&cacheProgram=11002&cachePartner=7000000000000005702 Good Luck !
