It sometimes takes 3 to 4 rings before the call waiting beep comes through. This has always been a problem with the call waiting cycle. I use to install a small extension ringer in the XDP port to get around the call waiting delay. Howdy all. KX-TD1232 system here. We have the system in Day mode, where all incoming calls (8 lines) are to be picked up directly by the operator at extension 101. If the operator is on the phone, her unit used to make a short ring to let her know when another call was coming in.
