You've encountered one of the best (worst?) examples of Panasonic stooooopidity.
A $5 CID box is better than a $5,0000 KX-TD system (KX-TA624 and 824 are much better). Unanswered calls are logged only at the lowest-numbered phone where the line is programmed to ring (usually 101). If you have a voice processor, it's likely that no calls will be logged at a phone. Answered calls can be manually loggged by pressing the LOG button on a phone during a call. The best way to log all calls is with a PC or printer connected to the serial port. Michael N.
