One problem is due to UPSes that don't produce a sine-wave output, they 
produce a "psuedo" sine-wave. This waveform may trigger surge 
suppressors. Therefore, if you want to add an outlet strip after such a 
UPS, make sure it's only an outlet strip, not a surge suppressor.
