And then i deleted it, but i feel a lot better ;-) thanks Charles, you made that offer several years ago when you atarted the other list. i've alway been here to learn from others and help others from almost 30 years of installing open market Pano telcom equipment. a lot of lists i support don't allow "commercisl" messages, i treat this list the same way. -larry / dallas todays "funny" this morning i installed a 170 8ext for a tech for his monday project. i tested all the ports for dpt and slt operation, but port 4 and 5 had a display problem the display showed SAM JUN18 09:20A, the other ports showed SAT JUN18 09:20A. some sort of stuck bit problem, so i changed the dpt -same problem. a card problem should be on odd/even ports (like 1-2 or 5-6) i went to put the phone in prog mode when i saw the second line was CONT SONN MUS! i put the phone in prog mode, and changed the language back to ENGLISH! for both ports. these ports were never used (no card!) don't know how those 2 ended up in FRENCH mode. _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
