Have you replaced the $20 door unit?

Also Disconnect the line from the door card and meter it for ac leakage. .5 
volts or less is typical & ok.   More than that and you should reroute lines 
away from romex & other paths etc.  Is the line twisted pr. or quad? or try 
a few wraps around a ferrite choke to limit ac leakage entering the 
card......... Just my 2 cents..... I have had multiple problems from leakage 
in the new homes with tons of dimmers, switches, and the array of electronic 
gizmos.
