We have a potential customer that wants to have the
KX-TVS225 and live operator have the ability to
transfer calls to sales reps cell phones on a regular
basis but PRI is not available in the area and regular
POTS lines will be used. I understand that this will
tie up two trunks for every call but they are not
concerned with that. Centrex is also NOT an option
because of the ongoing monthly charges.
Has anyone set something like this up on the TDA?
We have tried similar arrangements on the KX-TD1232
without much success do to low volume even with the
conf. chips.
My concern is that cell phone conversations are often
poor to begin with and throw in low volume from a
trunk to trunk conf. and it may be unacceptable.
