I had one die a few years ago. I was able to get the system back up by
attaching an external power supply to the battery input jack (I think it
takes 24 Volts at a few amps). It worked fine for about two weeks while
I found a replacement power supply. Found one for about $50 by searching
the internet. I still have the bad one, anyone want it? They should
be fixable if someone has the time.

Subject: KX-T: Dead Power supply? KX-T123211D

After a power failure of 3+hours, the KX-T123211D -3 doesn’t power up. This
unit has worked flawlessly for about 12 years.

I checked the fuse and it’s fine.

But the unit has no lights on the exterior panel, and no leds are lit on the
board below the power supply unit. There is power to the plug.

Other than just ordering a new power supply, anything else I should check?

I saw another post where someone had a power supply problem after a power
failure, but it sounded like they at least had some panel lights. Has
anyone experienced a similar power supply problem?

Thanks

Ed
