I had one die a few years ago. I was able to get the system back up by attaching an external power supply to the battery input jack (I think it takes 24 Volts at a few amps). It worked fine for about two weeks while I found a replacement power supply. Found one for about $50 by searching the internet. I still have the bad one, anyone want it? They should be fixable if someone has the time.
