I used to use KXTD816-3 in the US and then moved to Japan with it. The caller ID KXTD
193 unit was found not working in Japan, perphaps due to the different standard. I
found somewhere that the UK caller ID protocol is similar to the Japanese NTT
standard. If so, I would buy the caller ID unit from UK market. Note that KXTD 816
is not marketed in Japan. Does anyone know how to make it work in Japan, whether with
US KXTD 193 or UK unit or else?
