This is a seemingly simple question, just want to be sure. I am running a cat5 line for a T1 drop from the T1 circuit that is terminated in the closet, to a KXTD1232 with a T1 card. The service provider is AT&T.
Question: Is it safe to terminate the cat5 run with RJ45 connectors and patch cords, using the T568B standard? Or do I need to make a crossover termination??
