Todd, there is (was?-might have been discontinued) a module for the kxtd 1232 ksu that did 90v lamp mw. it sandwiched under the -170/-180 modules and intercepted the xdp ports to use 2500 type sets with a message lamp.
i don't know of anything that works with the stutter tone, unless one of the cheap consumer boxes for telco vm might detect it. But most of those just pick up the line every few seconds and listen for a stuttered dialtone, not the pano beep/beep/space/beep/beep sequence. What are you trying to do? If you just need to blink a neon lamp, you can use one of the vm mbx notification devices to "ring" an xdp port. Ie: mail box 105 has not. dev. 1 set for "telephone", 9 retries,... dial number 215 (rings free xdp port). there are limits how long and how many times it rings this number, but you can use the schedule to spread out the ringing. Actually, the later kxtd have fudge bits that will set a xdp with a vm mbx to repeatedly/periodically send bursts of 3 rings as a "mw ring". Sorry I can't help with the KXTA specifically, we don't sell or service that series. I did post your question to the list, there are crafty folks here that might have better ideas! (I did delete your contact info, email me directly as before and i can pass on any other info about your app to the list.) -larry > Larry, > > I saw your old post about a possible > message waiting light module for a KXT- system.
