Hi All

Occasionally I will install a patch panel for the customer. I find them a
pain and not as flexible as a 66 block, however I have recommended them and
always install them when a customer requests them.

I always construct them my self using jacks and blank panels. I take the
amphenol and run 3 pair to the first jack and to the adjacent jack I put
down the analog pair. This costs a little more, however if you need to
break out the analog pair, it is easy. Then when someone wants to loop the
analog pairs around, you just use a splitter and some short patch cords you
make up.

Just my 2 cents.
