Subject: KX-T: How do we supply 32+ extensions w/o going to a digital
KSU?

I have a business owner that is wanting us to install a system to handle 16
COs & 32+ extensions, including 2 DSS panels. He has expressed that he does
not want to buy a digital system, and is not even requiring voicemail (using
callnotes). IS this possible with a daisychain configuration of KX-TA624s or
1232s? We mainly do residential, and have never gone this large with a phone
system.

Dual cabinet TD1232's is not rocket science, especially with -5 or greater
systems. The dual system starts it's life as a 16x32 so you just buy 2
1232's and an interconnect module and that's it, except the fact that you
are going to be short a couple of ports for the DSS.

My favorite phone today happens to be the 7700 series with the standard
headset jack and the cute stand.

Of course, if your customer doesn't happen to have a huge investment in
sets, you can look to a non-Panasonic soultion. Comdial Executech 2000's
are going really cheap these days.
