That's what I needed, a little brain stimulation. By dialing 191, it would
do the same thing. This system has been in use for several years and who
knows what feature codes have been set by accident. 790 data clear did not
cure the problem though. Next was Log In/Out dial code 451, log IN cured
the problem on those phone that were not ringing. All seems to be working
OK right now.

Michael,

What happens when you just call 191?

cp

(Sometimes I find that if I carry a big hammer near the ksu, and act a
little anxious, the ksu may start working right on it's own.)

OK, I got something that is stumping me and need some help.

TD308 vers: P871C71106, with DISA card (and analog card) is installed (in my
home). I never set up the DISA but since my kids were getting bigger and
more calls, figured it was time to take out the fax switcher and use the
features of the system.

Line 2 is routed DIL 1:1 to 198, the DISA extension.
DISA message says press 2 for Family 3 for Rachel 4 for Elise. 2 routes to
floating ext 191 (group 1) 3 routes to ext 109 - a cordless phone with
answering machine. Gp 3 4 routes to ext 110 - a cordless phone with
answering machine. Gp 4

All phones except for 109 & 110 are in ext group 1.
Ext group 1 is set for RING group in MISC programming, default floating
number is 191 for group 1. I can't use phantom numbers since some phones
ringing are analog and can't have a phantom number.

What is happening is that only digital and analog exts on ports 1 & 5 ring
immediately when 2 is pressed. The CO button flashes on ports 2 and 6 and
have a delay ring of 3 rings. Port 3 has a digital phone and the light stays
solid red.

If I busy 101, CW works.
If I place ports 2 and 5 into ext group 2, then port 4 rings immediately.

DIAS options 3 & 4 work fine, it's the floating number, 191, that seem to go
wacky. The system has been power cycled.

Comments???? System reset and start over???? Not much in 990 to change.
