Hi, I am rewiring after a hotel fire and need to get some info on cabling thresholds. The existing cable varies from CAT-nasty to Cat-5e, Miscellaneous IDFs, 66-blocks, are scattered along the runs as well as old crimps & splices. Unfortunately there will not be enough money to recable the whole place. I set the clients up with an old 1232-11D and even though a run is within 300 meters I cannot set up a system phone in one of the temporary offices. A standard T&R set works fine but the flash concept seems to be beyond some of the girls there. . . . . . What I'm looking for is a resistance reading on my meter that I can work with and any info from someone that has traced out circuits using an meter. Thanks for any Info.
